Praslin is home to the “Vallée de Mai’ , the UNESCO World Heritage Site, a haven for rare endemic species including the famous Coco de Mer and the Black Parrot.

The island is also reknown for its spectacular beaches such as “Anse Lazio”, widely acclaimed to be the “most beautiful beach on earth”. Nature island reserves of Cousin, Aride, Curieuse act as sanctuaries for a variety of fauna and flora and can be accessible from Praslin by boat. A small complex, set in lush tropical gardens, Indian Ocean Lodge is 2km from Praslin Airport and is the perfect base from which to explore this magnificent island.

The imposing main building is located at the centre of the hotel and houses the restaurant, reception, lounge and a well-stocked bar. The local staff are warm welcoming and friendly.

Should you wish to venture further, Indian Ocean Lodge provides daily excursions and boats which will whisk you away to the neighbouring islands of Cousin, Aride and Curieuse.

Accommodation

Set in eight separate units, with each of them containing in it four rooms, the accommodation at Indian Ocean Lodge includes 32 rooms. All rooms are spacious and decorated to provide a typically tropical atmosphere, with its own separate private terrace or patio providing majestic views of Grand Anse Bay and neighboring islands. These rooms can accommodate 2 adults and one child or 3 adults

An imposing main building, is centrally situated and houses the restaurant, which offers both local and international cuisine in an informal and friendly atmosphere. A well stocked bar on the seaward side services both the lounge and the pool deck.

There is no spa however there are some stunning walks from the hotel, relax in the pool or swim in the beautiful Indian Ocean.
